We are beautifully proud to share that Tillys Waratah 2’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been officially published through Narragunnawali.

What is a rap?

A Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a formal commitment to reconciliation. It documents how a school or early learning service will strengthen relationships, respect and opportunities in the classroom, around the school/service and with the community. Our RAP has been developed in collaboration with Narragunnawali and we are incredibly grateful for their guidance.

For us at Tillys Waratah 2, this is more than a document. It represents our deep, ongoing commitment to nurturing respect, weaving authentic relationships, and creating meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and learning.

Every day, our feet connect with Awabakal Country and we aim to continue embedding this into our daily practices.

We ground our practice in this beautiful land, acknowledging the Traditional Custodians and paying our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.

We hold immense gratitude for Reconciliation Australia and the Narragunnawali team, whose guidance empowers educational communities like ours to walk this path of positive change.

Reconciliation lives in our daily rhythms. We look forward to weaving these commitments into the heart of our curriculum, learning and growing side-by-side with our children, families, educators, and community.
