Tillys Play & Development Centre at Gillieston Heights is a purpose built centre located off Wallis Creek estate. Catering for children aged between 0-12 years, it encompasses an in-built Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care facility for primary school aged children, along with our already exceptional long day care services for early childhood education. The centre’s opening hours will be 6.30am – 6.30pm Monday – Friday. Our OOSH service has two mini buses and caters for children from Gillieston Heights Public School and Maitland Public School.
The centre includes all meals which are prepared fresh daily on site by our experienced cooks in our outstanding chefs kitchen. Our menus are designed to be nutritionally satisfying and allow the children to explore a foods from a variety of food groups throughout the day.
With vast outdoor play spaces and brand new equipment, the centre boasts high quality play experiences and educational resources. The children can enjoy an outdoor space with numerous slides, climbing equipment and sandpits, as well as a ‘shipwrecked’ boat to encourage imaginative play and exploration. The indoor environment encompasses age appropriate play resources, inviting the children to express their individual interests and explore a variety of areas through self-lead play. Dedicated educators guide the children’s learning and play through hands-on experiences and are attentive to each child’s individual needs and interests.
