We were delighted to welcome Renee and Jasmine from Nature and Nurture, who joined us for a special centre event. Together, the children explored hands-on creative experiences using natural materials and clay, encouraging imagination, creativity, and a connection with the natural world.

Earlier in the morning, Bethany thoughtfully set up an inviting art experience where the children painted their own interpretations of Australian animals in their natural environments. Through their artwork, the children expressed their creativity while exploring the unique beauty of Australia’s wildlife and landscapes.

Experiences like these not only provide meaningful learning opportunities for our children but also support our educators in extending their knowledge, reflecting on their practice, and discovering new ways to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and sustainable practices into our everyday curriculum. Working alongside passionate community members and facilitators strengthens our ability to create authentic, engaging learning experiences that foster curiosity, respect, and a lifelong connection to Country.
