This week at Muswellbrook Tillys, we have had a wonderful few days engaged in a drawing, writing and letter-posting experience. This experience naturally evolved as the children were creating artworks and then folding them up and asking for envelopes to place them inside. Envelopes were added to the creative arts area along with a red post box to further extend from this.
The preschool children have been utilising their creativity and their letter recognition skills to write letters or make artworks to send home to their family members. They then placed these letters/artworks into envelopes and placed them through the slot of our post box. 📮
The preschool children have also used this experience to build their social skills as they worked collaboratively, observing and taking ideas from one another, and using their verbal communication skills.
