Last week during National Child Protection Week our Sunflower Room at Waratah 1 participated in the Australia’s Biggest Child Safety Lesson from The Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

The lesson focused on strategies for children aged 4-7 years, and included aspects of feeling safe and owning your body, who are safety helpers, as well as learning how to RECOGNISE when we might be in an unsafe situation, to REACT to keep ourselves safe, and to REPORT unsafe situations.
