Over the past few weeks, the children across our Sunflower and Castle Rooms have been learning about what it means to be a leader and who would like to be part of our Waratah 1 Little Leaders group.

This week in our Little Leaders meeting we voted in our group name, made our commitment to the leadership team and discussed ways on how to care for our garden.

Our Little Leaders will meet regularly to share ideas, discuss important topics, listen to the thoughts and opinions of their friends and work together to help make positive changes within our centre.

We are so proud to provide our children with opportunities to have a voice, build confidence, develop leadership skills and understand that their ideas and opinions matter.
