Selena joined the Abermain team in June this year as a programmer for our 3/4 year olds and has embraced the Tillys philosophy and practices in conjunction with her own personal philosophy. Selena’s personal philosophy of child led programs and pedagogy and practice are displayed through her ability to apply these to the children’s learning each day.

Selena is passionate about gardening and has successfully grown a pot of sunflowers from the seed for some local bees to enjoy.

Selena shows self-motivation, seeks feedback and guidance from leaders, and continues to keep every day programs engaging. She has built many connections with families and children and we are so lucky to have her apart of our team here at Abermain.
