⭐ Staff Spotlight – Anamika! ⭐
Anamika is a valued Early Childhood Teacher from Tillys Rutherford!
Hello! My name is Anamika. I was born in Nepal. I moved to Australia in 2018 to pursue in higher education. Soon I realised my interest in my past part-time job working with children and being passionate about working in childcare. My journey in this field began with a strong educational foundation that equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care for children. I obtained my Diploma of early childhood education and care and started working here with all the little ones.
Motivated by a relentless pursuit of excellence, I was poised to take my commitment to childcare to the next level. Recognizing the dynamic nature of the field and the evolving needs of today’s learners, I was able to make my decision to pursue Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education. This degree gave me qualification to become an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT).
I graduated from Victoria University in 2023 with a degree in Early Childhood Education, where I gained a deep understanding of child development, educational psychology, and effective teaching methods. My coursework not only broadened my theoretical knowledge but also instilled in me a commitment to fostering the holistic development of young minds.
During my time in university, I completed internships at local childcare centres, where I had the opportunity to apply my academic learning in real-world settings. These experiences allowed me to observe and engage with children of different age groups, understanding their unique needs and learning styles.
In my professional journey, I have worked in various childcare settings and each experience has contributed to my growth as a childcare professional. I am dedicated to creating an inclusive and engaging atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and develop essential life skills. My approach is rooted in fostering a sense of curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in each child I work with. I am excited about the prospect of making a positive impact on the lives of the children I work with, helping them build a strong foundation for future success.
