The educators set up a sensory swivel in a large space and provided paint and large pieces of paper.

The children were very intrigued by the set up and showed curiosity by gathering around.

One by one they laid down on their stomachs on the spinning swivel. The educator explained that they could spin around and then try and find the paper while spinning to paint onto the paper.

During this experience the children demonstrated gross motor skill’s, hand eye co-ordination, motor planning and spatial awareness.

The children really enjoyed this unique and different painting experience.
