Tillys Play & Development Centre Singleton is a 56-place long day care and early education service located in Hunterview, Singleton. We are open from 6.00am-6.00pm Monday to Friday for children aged 0-5years for 51 weeks of the year. Our centre location is within ideal location of family homes in the Hunterview estate and accessible from multiple parts of Singleton Heights, The Retreat and Sedgefield.

Our Centre is a boutique 3 room centre with a passionate team of welcoming, nurturing educators in our family feel centre. Being a smaller centre, we have a strong sense of centre community with familiarity between children, educators and families. Our play-based learning program caters to the individual developmental needs of all children and through regular staff professional development opportunities and continued training and upskilling; we strive to offer the most up to date holistic approach to early childhood education and care.

Our service boasts a natural playground with room to move across free space as well as feature play spaces including a large sandpit, trickle stream, bike track, mud kitchen and multiuse deck in both our large and small yards, providing meaningful learning opportunities to children of all ages.

We are proud to source all our foods locally. Our long term centre cook of 10 years Cath, prepares our meals from a local butcher and bakery, our fruit and vegetables are sourced from our local fresh fruit and vegetable family owned business and our remaining groceries are purchased from a local supermarket. It is important to us to have these community partnerships while providing fresh quality foods for our children on a daily basis.

We offer an intentional holistic transition to school program for our Preschool aged children. We believe in supporting children socially and emotionally for the transition to kindergarten, and plan our program and learning opportunities around this, along with opportunities to understand and recognise literacy and numeracy, learn self-care and promote confidence in themselves to seek help and assistance.

We are rated as Meeting the National Quality Framework with Exceeding themes throughout our assessment, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional quality in early education and care with high priority of children’s health and safety and an environment that reflects this.
