Last Tuesday our Education Leaders from across our services met at Tillys Rutherford. Our critical reflection focus was on Quality Area 1 Child-directed learning – we engaged with a range of literature and reflected on our current strengths when promoting children’s agency and identified some goals for our services in relation to children’s choices and decisions.
The Educational Leaders also shared their current programming documents with each other, looking at the planning cycle for individual and groups of children.
Our Rutherford Nominated Supervisor Lisa and Educational Leader Maureen, gave us a tour of their wonderful service, including viewing the range of innovative practices currently happening at Rutherford to support engagement with the NQS Exceeding Themes.
