Today the Dingo and Lizard children at Tillys Cardiff virtually interacted with Sydney Wild Life Aquarium. At the Newcastle Show the children from Waratah 2 created artworks for a competition. The Desert Rose children won first place with their portrait of Anne. The Banksia children came second with their flower garden, and the Bottlebrush received a highly commended for their under the sea. 🎨
The children in the Lizard and Dingo rooms at Cardiff Tillys enjoyed an Aboriginal performance with Gwenda. They were involved in dance, music, traditional instruments and traditional face painting. We learnt a lot about the Indigenous culture and will continue to learn throughout the year. 💫🍃
This week the children from Fern Bay celebrated Holi festival. The children were able to get into the spirit by smearing colourful powder on each other. We also joined together for an Indian lunch of butter chicken, pappadums and naan bread. 🌿✨
