Today the Dingo and Lizard children at Tillys Cardiff virtually interacted with Sydney Wild Life Aquarium.
We gathered around ensuring that the children were spaced approx 1.5 meters apart, and watched the live video.
During this segment, we learnt various penguin names including Pink Lady. The penguins eat twice a day, eating various small fish.
As the live segment went on, we had the opportunity to ask various questions to the zoo keeper.
Our question was “How do they clean up all the food and poo?” from Tillys Cardiff.
We were one of the very lucky people who got their questioned answered!
We found out that penguins actually go to the toilet EVERY seventeen minutes, and the aquarium has it’s own ice machine next to the enclosure so it can get lots of new ice every day.
What a beautiful experience to be involved in such a rough trying time out in the community. Thank you to Sydney Wild Life Aquarium we cant wait for the next live feed!
