The children from the Echidna room at Bolwarra Tillys had an exciting excursion yesterday to their local park and Maitland Library. We walked to the bus stop and waited patiently for the bus to arrive, then scanned our Opal cards on the bus and made the trip into Lorn for a play at the park. Afterwards we headed across the big bridge to the library. Here we listened to some stories, then we were able to search for our own books! Once we had found the ones we liked, we learnt how to use library cards to borrow the ones we had chosen. We spent some time here reading some of our favourite books to each other too, before catching the bus back to the centre. 📚
