OOSH and Vacation Care

Tillys Play and Development Centres Out of School Hours (OOSH) service offers centre based care for children aged 5-12 years for before and after school during term and all day during school holidays (Vacation Care).

Its purpose is to create a safe and caring environment where children can freely choose amongst the program of activities designed specifically for school age children.

 

Our OOSH services have partnered with Kids and Traffic, who run the NSW Early Childhood Road Safety Education Program. It forms part of the statewide road safety education program of Transport for NSW. Together we created a video which explains the outstanding safety procedures we put in to place for transportation within our OOSH services and to showcase the excellence of our practices. What we offer

Before School Care operates from 6.30am to 9.00am during school terms. We provide children with breakfast until 7.30am, quiet activities and then safely escort them to school either by our own bus or by foot (depending on weather and location of Service).

After School care operates from the time the children finish school till 6.30pm. Children will be collected from school by our educators and then safely transported to the centre in our own bus or by foot (depending on weather and location of Service). They are then provided with afternoon tea and then actively engaged in structured art and craft activities, games and sporting activities, as well as having free play time with friends.

Vacation Care operates from 6.30am to 6.30pm during school holidays and pupil free days. Parents drop their children off and collect from the centre. We provide children with all meals for the day including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and supper.

Our holiday program includes structured art and craft activities, cooking experiences, games and sporting activities, as well theme days and excursions – exciting trips to the movies, bowling, ice skating, local zoo and wildlife parks just to name a few. We also allow for plenty of free play time with friends.

Vacation Care Programs are available and bookings for Vacation Care are open 5 weeks prior to the commencement of each School Holidays period.

Our OOSH and Vacation care programs run out of our Bolwarra, Greta, Rutherford, Chisholm and Gillieston Heights centre locations ONLY. To book contact the centre nearest you.

 

All of our OOSH and vacation care Programs are Approved Services under the national Quality Framework, with access to Government Child Care Subsidy available for eligible families.
