Today, silence will fall across our country for one minute as Australia commemorates those who have fallen defending our Nation. November 11 is a day to remember the sacrifice that thousands of people have made in service to their country.
Tillys at Rutherford showed our appreciation and respects by pausing at 11am. We heard Miss Rae over the speaker read a poem and a reflection on why we remember the fallen. We then had a minute’s silence as we listened to “The Last Post”. Across the whole of our centre we had various experiences for the children to learn about Remembrance Day
