Our new chickens at Tillys Play and Development Centre Singleton

Tillys at Singleton were very lucky to have had a chicken coop donated to them from Kirkwood Produce in Singleton. The children helped the educators to put together the chicken coop, following the picture instructions. Once the coop was together, Cassie then purchased 4 silkie chickens from a family in Muswellbrook. The children are loving caring for them, checking on them regularly to ensure they have water and feed and picking the grass to feed to them. Over the next few weeks they will be out of the coop more and free to roam our playground.
