When the rain stopped today at Tillys Cardiff some of the children helped educator Tabytha set up the new vegetable and bush tucker gardens outside. Gardening gives the children a chance to learn an important life skill, also teaching them responsibility in taking care and keeping plants alive. Gardening is also a great way to teach environmental awareness by exploring the workings of nature.
The children planted 3 Davidson Plum trees and a few smaller bushes. We cant wait to take turns each day in watering them. 💦🌳🍂
