Last Thursday at Tillys Greta, our whole service came together to celebrate NAIDOC Week. We watched a special Bluey episode translated into Yolŋu Matha, an Indigenous language from north-east Arnhem Land. Before enjoying a range of activities organised by each room. Some of these included bird’s nest making with playdough, art inspired by this year’s NAIDOC Week poster, and reading stories. Together, we honoured Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture by coming together as a community to celebrate and connect.
