The Jellyfish Room at Tillys The Junction recently enjoyed a fun and engaging cooking experience with Chef Courtney, giving the children the opportunity to explore, mix, measure and create together. Our cooking experiences are an important part of our early childhood education program, encouraging hands-on learning while supporting children’s confidence, independence and creativity.

Through following simple recipes, measuring ingredients and working as a team, the children developed valuable life skills, strengthened their fine motor skills and explored healthy eating in a fun and meaningful way. The excitement didn’t stop there—they were incredibly proud to enjoy their freshly baked banana bread together for afternoon tea!
