✨ Meet Maree ✨

Maree is our amazing Tillys Behaviour Support Educator. Maree supports all Tillys centres in blocks at a time, supporting educators with ideas, strategies, and plans to help navigate children’s behaviours. Maree has been in the early childhood education industry for over 30 years and has been a familiar face within many of our Tillys centres. During this time, she has completed her Diploma in Children’s Services, as well as additional studies of understanding and supporting children’s behaviour. She is currently completing her Certificate of Psychology in Childhood, which has been very useful and valuable as she supports children and educators during these times of need.

While Maree is at our services, she observes the children within the care environment and how educators are supporting them during times of need. She also discusses, suggests, and implements strategies for educators to then implement within their indoor and outdoor learning environments. Maree then revisits the centres after a few weeks’ time for a follow up to see the progression of suggested strategies and provide extra help if necessary.
