Visiting the nursing home – W2

Today some of our Desert Rose preschoolers from Waratah 2 with their educators Tamara, Brie and Daniel visited Maroba Nursing home to perform some amazing musical items!

Our Desert Rose friends begun by reciting their welcome to country and decided to pump up the jams by performing some of Desert Rose favourite songs such as ‘Abc’s’ sung by Isla, ‘Old Town Road’ sung by Hannah, as well as a traditional indigenous song by the Noongar peoples of WA (Tamara’s home town!)

When exiting Maroba after some amazing performances, our friends met Barney the volunteer Labrador and decided to cap off the excursion by playing rolley polley down the grassy hill! What a wonderful day out indeed ☀️
