As the children who are off to primary school this year patiently wait for Kindergarten to start, they are occupying the Desert Rose Room at Waratah 2 with a fun and interactive program.
The children started the week with games, games and more games! We brought in our favourite games to share and play. One of the favorites was the dinosaur game, where we had to get the eggs before the Dino went snap!
On Tuesday it was movie magic! We made our own popcorn, measuring out the kernels and learnt about how popcorn pops! We then sat and watched Trolls World Tour! We sang and danced along too.
On Wednesday, we expressed our creativity and made dinosaur helmets. Rocking out with our disco light to the Dino stomp!
Thursday was party day! We rocked out with party hats and balloons, got our face painted and snapped up bubbles. We made our own fairy bread, furthering our independence and fine motor skills.
We finished off our week with a mini Olympics day! We raced with sacks and backwards races and then tug of war. Our favourite was the egg and spoon race!
We can’t wait for what fun we have in store for next week.
