All our centres are Long Day Care Centres, open between 49 and 51 weeks of the year (except Public Holidays) with operating hours varying from 6.00am to 6.30pm.
The centres care for children between the ages of 0-12 years and are licensed for between 28 and 162 children a day. Our centres at Greta and Bolwarra have separate OOSH care centres for up to 30 children before and after school and vacation care.
All Tillys Play and Development Centres are licensed by the NSW Regulatory Authority, the Department of Education and Communities (DECS) and operate within the regulations of the Education and Care Services Regulations and the Education and Care Services National Law.
The centres also offer Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Childcare Rebate (CCR) to eligible families and must abide by regulations set out by the Commonwealth Government.
All Tillys Play and Development Centres are rated by Australian Children's Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) under the National Quality Standard.
The approved provider and educators implement The Early Years Learning Framework and 'My Time, Our Place' the Framework for School Age Care into all aspects of Tillys Play and Development Centres Programs.
Tillys College of childcare was established in 2010 to raise the bar in the early childhood field of education. Tillys CCC is a unique training college as it is the only training college in the Hunter and Newcastle areas in which students study within a working childcare centre.
